It's Here!
After much waiting and much anticipation, the Madelinetosh has finally arrived, and it's just lovely! Hand Painted using oil painting techniques yields deep, rich colors on these soft yarns. We just know you'll love it. Stop by and take a gander at this exciting new yarn!

- Manos - and More!
From Artyarns we've received some beautiful hand dyed beaded mohair as well as beaded silks. So many beautiful new yarns and colors from this supplier of gorgeous deliciousness.
We've been restocked with Serena, the Baby Alpaca-Pima Cotton blend yarn from Manos del Uruguay, in all their wonderful colors. In addition, we also have the new pattern book with some wonderful new patterns featuring this delightful yarn.
We've also gotten in some wonderful yarn from Pagewood Farms, a California based hand dye company. Even more beautiful things for all fiber fans.

We also have a limited run of bulky weight Alpaca yarn in a natural off-white. This is a blend of fiber from two happy Alpacas from "Ranch of the Oaks", an Alpaca farm in nearby Lompoc, CA. This is a really unique 'one-of-a-kind' yarn only available at the Ball & Skein!
Honestly, there's so much new yarn in the shop, we don't know where to start! Lots of new cottons, lace weights, so many things for the warmer weather season. And if you can't stop by, give us a call and we'll send whatever you'd like!

 Lessons
Did you know we offer private lessons? Well, now you do! We're able to offer you lessons in anything related to knitting or crocheting. We will be offering classes later, but our experience has been that private instruction allows you to learn so much more in a much shorter amount of time. They also are scheduled at your convenience, so can be easier to fit in your busy life. Want to learn to knit, finish that project, learn a new technique?
