Well, it's been a crazy time, broken teeth, crushed glasses, houses to be bought, forms and paperwork to delve through, simply a host of things too numerous to mention, but, we're gonna try and unlock the door!

Opening day!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ok, though I'm still buried in Yarn and boxes, I'm putting my foot down. So, the plan as it stands, is to open on Halloween!
Nutty, perhaps, but the POS system arrives next week (fingers crossed), we'll be no where near ready, but one has to unlock the door sometime!
So yes, come by if you're a mind too and witness chaos and abject fear in action!
So that you know, Oz (me) will be flying solo. Kris, my lovely bride, is back east and sadly won't be joining us until Thanksgiving, but that's only 4 weeks at this point.
So, Please be gentle to him as he flys around trying to remember where the back stock for the Classic Elite Alpaca you want more of is.
Costumes you say? Oz will be attired in a unique outfit, as an exhausted LYS owner. Ok, maybe not that unique!
New Stuff, old stuff, sales, and with any luck, a skein or two of fun! Thanks for your patience and your understanding as we learn how to drive this bus!!

What's New?

Being from New England, where the American textile industry started, we wanted to bring that west with us - so we have a beautiful certified organic Vermont yarn called O-Wool. Vermont is a special place, very rural and full of interesting people and some of the most beautiful scenery around. We have Wool worsted, DK, and a Wool/Cotton blend in every color they make. Knits well and lasts, O-Wool is an extremly high quality fiber for a great price! Also, interesting for felting for a "floppier" effect than many felted wools.
We're also bringing in LOTS of Manos del Uruguay yarns. We have the Stria cotton, the Standard wools, and we brought in their new 5-ply Rittenhouse wool along with their Wool/Silk blends in every color. These yarns are just beautiful, and are certified Fair Trade as well as being a women's Co-operative of over 800 women in South America. Again, great yarns, incredible colors, and a great cause! How can you go wrong?
Continuing the theme of "We have it all" we've brought in an old favorite of ours from New England, Nashua Creative Focus Worsted, a lovely Wool/Alpaca blend and we have ALL 52 colors in stock! Great for your everyday knitting, crocheting, and felting projects.
What else? Oh my, new Crochet hooks that are not to be believed, as well as Addi Turbos, unique knitting needles and Tunisian Hooks.
I'm sure there's more, but I really have to get back to trying to get the shop ready.
