SOS!   Help Kids, Give School Suppliesgirl with back pack

CAC needs your donations of new back packs and school supplies!

We rely on school supply drives and donations from the community to provide back packs and supplies to more than 500 local children in need each year. Distribution to children begins in early August.

Please help us send children to school with the tools they need to learn. Donate general supplies or pack backpacks for specific children, schools or grades.

Helping Families Thrivefamily clip art

Lisa is a disabled Veteran, a mother of two young sons. She receives modest disability benefits that she supplements with part time work to make ends meet. When she lost her job in 2011 she turned to CAC for help. We helped her with rent, preventing eviction, and gave her family food and clothing. After several months she found a job working at home, an ideal situation because among the obstacles she faced was a lack of reliable transportation. Then in early 2012 CAC was able to help Lisa and her family once more. Several cars were donated to CAC to pass on to deserving clients; and Lisa was among those chosen. She was ecstatic about her new debt free car for the transportation it provided to herself and her children. Now Lisa wants to help others who need help by volunteering at CAC. "CAC has truly made a mark in my life that can't be erased, I am so thankful and blessed by their work!"

Have Your Donation Matched!

Create a bigger impact for the dollars you invest in CAC!  We thank you for your very generous financial contributions which help fund all of our programs to help neighbors during difficult times. As a reminder, if your company offers a matching contribution, we would be grateful if you could direct these funds to CAC. Together, we are making our community stronger!
