Everything that happens at CAC is a community effort, and nothing demonstrates that more than the support behind our annual benefit, Vintage Affair.
We hope you will join us Saturday, November 5 for the 2011 Country Chic Vintage Affair and not only support CAC, but support the hundreds of donors from our community who make the event possible, from local restaurants and Georgia wineries to businesses and residents who sponsor, donate food, wine, auction items and time. We're thankful for their contributions.

CAC's Holiday Giving Program is underway. Adopt-a-Family and fulfill a child's wish list with holiday gifts, donate food or give grocery store gift cards. CAC's Holiday Program serves families who have sought help from us during the year. Your contributions make a direct impact on local families struggling to make ends meet. Thank you for making the holidays a happier time for families in need. CAC Holiday Giving
Making Ends Meet
Heidi is raising her 6 grandchildren alone. She is employed as a bus driver and is not paid during the summer months. This past summer one of the children needed emergency room services. Heidi struggled to pay the ER bills and as a result fell behind on her utility payments. She turned to CAC. CAC assisted with her electric bill saving her electricity from being turned off. She also receives food and clothing from CAC. This helps her since she does not qualify for food stamps. Heidi signed up for the CAC adult education class in money management so she can learn to better manage her money during the year and become more self-sufficient during the summer months.
