Plein Air Introduction:
Tools and Techniques
Friday, June 4th at AAWS 10am-12noon
Judy Meyler & Cheryl Powell will co-present a plein air workshop at AAWS, This will be an overview of tools and techniques used for painting "on the spot" and will prepare participants for getting started in this practice. A plein air demo at a downtown green spot will be included, so wear comfortable shoes. AAWS will provide drinks and a/c for the lecture portion.

The Plein Air Intensive:
A hands-on 2-day workshop
June 10-11, 8:00am-2:00pm (with break for lunch)
Experienced plein air artists Judy Meyler & Cheryl Powell will co-present this plein air intensive with AAWS. This will be a hands-on intensive covering multiple mediums, with lecture, demonstration, and real practice painting "on the spot". Participants will visit green spots downtown for practice, and will complete a painting during the workshop.
Dress: comfortable shoes, weather appropriate clothing.
