AAWS Staff needs regular volunteers to assist with mailings, greeting guests (docent services), and keeping up with daily chores.
Volunteering is a wonderful way to get involved,meet other artists, and help maintain a successful organization for everyone!
Best of all - volunteering is easy! Bring a book or artwork to work on. For school credit or just for fun.

Drawing Circle
 Saturdays, 10AM - Noon in the AAWS Gallery. No sign up or fee - just drop by. Open to any artist, all skill levels, who wish to practice drawing.

After the art delivery date, prospectuses are removed from "Call for Artists". To access, click on "See all News" in the bottom right of the Home Page, then scroll down to "Archived news"

Art Critiques and Idea Sharing
Saturday, May 22, 10:30 AM - Noon 
 
AAWS is offering the chance to come out of your studio and share work with fellow artists. If you're looking for critique, some suggestions, helpful questions or a little sharing of ideas, then come downtown for our new series called Reading Work. Bring some work or bring your laptop, bring ideas, and, heck, since it's free, bring a friend. Board members and artists Shawn Beard and Diana Greene will be on hand for Reading Work.
