Thank You!

Since the co-op is a community initiative, we want to take the time to thank community members for contributing their time, skills and passions to the Monadnock Community Market.

Thank you to Sandy Hamm for processing all of our member-ownership applications & maintaining our database since MCM Co-op Member-Owner #1.

Updates
This month we're happy to report that we've surpassed the 900 Member-Owner mark. We are now in the home stretch of reaching our pre-opening membership goal of 1,000 Member-Owners.

Building
We finished the design stage of the building!  A special thank you to Scully Architects including Katie Cassidy Sutherland who studied every last detail of this project to ensure the bidding and construction process go smoothly.

The Monadnock Economic Development Corporation, who will lease the finished building to us, has put the project out to bid.  We hope to select a General Contractor Connect 2011by the end of March and plan to begin construction shortly thereafter.  Things are moving along quickly and we are excited about the progress -- it won't be long before we can put some shovels in the ground.  Perfect timing for spring!

Survey - We Want Your Input!
Please take this 10-minute survey from the MCM Co-op.  We want to know what you look for in a grocery store. Your response will be kept completely confidential.  Survey results will be aggregated to provide important information to guide decisions made by our management and board of directors.

Thank you, as always, for your membership, support, and energy. We'll speak to you soon, and in the meantime, look us up on Facebook, Twitter, or our website: http://monadnockcommunitymarket.com.

Yours Cooperatively,
Monadnock Community Market Co-op

Locally owned. Locally grown. Locally eaten.

Why I Joined the Co-op
Because the co-op will bring more healthy local food to downtown Keene, allowing me to food shop without a car. Walking rather than driving will reduce my carbon emissions and the amount I pay for gas, and I'll get healthy food, plus exercise from walking. A win-win-win-win!
