Bring someone who is not yet a member-owner to the March 26th Celebration

Thank You!

Since the co-op is a community initiative, we want to take the time to thank community members for contributing their time, skills and passions to the Monadnock Community Market.

Thank you Sang Curtis for bringing C.C. the Co-op Carrot to life.  Did you see C.C. at the Seed Celebration

You'll be hearing more from C.C. over the coming weeks, as C.C. will be taking questions about the co-op and answering them via email updates. Think of the emails as co-op mythbusters!

Volunteer in the Monadnock Region

Hello Friends,

We are approaching the half-way mark of our goal of 1,000 MCM Co-op member-owners. Still waiting to join?  We need you NOW!  Joining now ensures that our member-owned full-service grocery store opens on time.

The MCM Co-op Board of Directors, Project Manager, Working Groups, and Volunteer Superworkers are busy planning a number of co-op events, creating the preliminary store design, and preparing for our Member Loan Drive launching in April.  Have time to help?

We hope to see all of you at our 500 Member-Owner Celebration Event on March 26th!

Yours cooperatively,
Monadnock Community Market Co-op

Savor Our Seasons: KALE

By Liza Drew, Keene State College Dietetic Intern

Flavorful fact:  Kale is one of the heartiest vegetables and can be harvested all winter long if protected from the snow with mulch or hay.

Though winter may not bring New Hampshire's most plentiful harvest of fruits and vegetables, with a little creativity, this season can be filled with local ingredients.

Try this Recipe: Roasted Vegetable & Kale Stew
