We’ve upgraded our manufacturing process by incorporating both a powder coating system and a laser fabricator.

Switching from liquid paint to powder coating eliminates flaking, scratches and other common problems associated with traditional painting.  Powder coating gives EDCO products extra protection against daily wear and is more environmentally friendly than liquid paint.

Laser fabrication technology, which replaces outdated fabrication methods and assures correct part dimensions, helps us significantly reduce manufacturing times, which results in short lead times and increases stock of core products.




EDCO’s Chamber Celebrates 100 Years.

Recently the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce in Maryland celebrated its 100th anniversary.  The FCCC was the first chartered Chamber in the United States and its members include over 1,000 organizations representing over 35,000 jobs.

EDCO is headquartered in Frederick and joined the Chamber in 1978.  In that time
we’ve enjoyed the benefits and education this organization has to offer. EDCO believes, as the Chamber does, that successful businesses make for vibrant and healthy communities.
