A Prophetic Word of Caution, Concern and Exhortation to FOCUS!
Sometimes words of the Lord come as whispers from Holy Spirit, sometimes as visions, dreams or illuminations of scripture.
Other times a Word from the Lord comes as a parabolic experience, something a prophetically inclined person will experience which later the Lord Himself will illuminate and use as parable. It is a Jesus-Teachable Moment.
Most times these are joyous, parabolic experiences. And, at times they are painful. The ouchy ones do impart maximum compassion for the Bride!
This is a parabolic word I have just received. The Lord said that the timing is NOW... that you must be made aware that ADVICE and OPINIONS are NOT coming from Him in most cases. These are words meant to spin you around, make you second guess yourself, your ministry, His Word to you.
These are the words of Job's Friends!
Beloved, if a word of opinion or advice brings a sense of spiritual weightiness or condemnation it is not the Lord Jesus Who's burden is easy and light.
Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
Job 32:3
Conviction---now that is a very different thing---and really a Holy thing since it is in the purview of Holy Spirit Himself! Listen intently to that!
So, in the days ahead, listen only to the Lord and those that He has previously anointed to speak WISDOM and the Word into your life and ministry.
But don't take my advice...let Holy Spirit bear witness.

"With Friends Like These!"
This is a bit of parabolic prophetic insight for those of us who
have perhaps been going through a situation, trial or decision. I pray
that excludes most. This week the Lord has allowed me to see
and experience that in some, if not most times of stress and difficulty
what is the Worst is not really the situation or the circumstance: It is the Voices of Job's Friends...
that encircle your mind like nasty mosquitoes...
full of bad, bad advice.
These
venomous voices seem to mean well, but all they do is sting the wounds
that you already have and that already hurt. They bring bad advice and
perhaps something worse: confusion.
I believe it is a righteous thing to tell them to SHUT UP!
Any
voice or influence that keeps us from clearly hearing the Voice of
Jesus and Holy Spirit is a nuisance---even if they come over to the
house with tea and sympathy.
Look at the Names of these Guys---they are very revelatory:
Eliphaz. His
name means "My God is fine Gold." This is the 'friend' that is always
going to give you his advice from a monetary and financial
perspective. Mammon is his idol, so he will always advise to maximize
and please Mammon. Tell this unsolicited voice to 'shut the hell up.' Tell him, For it is written: My God shall supply all my need according to His Riches in Glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 Go home, Eliphaz.
Bildad. I dunno. I would never trust a guy named Bildad. Sounds like he's from Jersey. Anyway---
Bildad
means "confused, his appetites are confused, double-minded." This is
the guy who cannot choose a salad dressing in the restaurant---Why take
his advice? He will make you crazy and confused. Tell this unsolicited voice to 'shut the hell up.' Tell him, For it is written "In all your ways acknowledge God and He will direct your paths." Proverbs 3:6 Go home, Bildad. No, this way, Bildad. What a putz.
Zophar. His
name means "sparrow." He is impudent, bothersome, and insignificant.
He likes the sound of his own voice. In the plethora of words of
advice spoken by this voice, you will not find anything of value. Tell this unsolicited voice to 'shut the hell up.' Tell him, For it is written "...and a fool's voice is known by multitudes of words" Ecclesiastes 5:3
Go home, Zophar.
Someone
once said "silence is golden." Stillness and silence are the outer and
inner atmospheres into which Holy Spirit speaks and Jesus manifests.
This week Holy Spirit taught me that it is OK to do what is necessary
to maintain this atmosphere in my life and home in order to hear Him
clearly.
Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar got offended and just walked away.
Don't miss those guys a bit!
