Updated Sanitation Ordinance
Beginning March 15th, garbage may no longer be placed in plastic
bags at the curb. All garbage must contained in plastic bags and
properly stored in a watertight container with a lid.

2010 City Bus Schedule & Fare Information
The 2010 Bus Schedule is now available for download. Copies of the schedule are also available in the Tax Department at City Hall, 1st floor.
Beginning 1/1/10, the City Bus Adult Regular fare will increase from $1.00 to
$1.50. All other rider fares will remain the same.

RFP Issued: Emergency Medical Services, Response & Transport
The City of Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York is distributing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to evaluate potential vendors who are interested in providing professional and qualified Ambulance Service to the geographical area of the City of Poughkeepsie. Ambulance service shall include the provision of Advanced Life Support Care (ALS) and Basic Life Support Care (BLS).
The submission deadline is February 15, 2010.
