Greetings!
Get on Track with a Trainer
It's that time of year
again---champagne flows, balls drop and New Year's resolutions are made.
Resolutions run the gamut---from quitting smoking
or being more productive at work, to eating more vegetables, or losing 10
pounds. A majority of resolutions,
though, revolve around exercise. People
often pledge to start an exercise program, get back on track with a program
they resolved to start last year, or raise the intensity of their current
exercise program.
Unfortunately, many of these
good intentions don't last past February.
This is where a Certified Personal Trainer becomes very helpful. They can test your current level of fitness,
measure your percentage of body fat and design an exercise program to meet your
particular needs and goals.
We all think we know how to
workout and get results, but we often get discouraged when we see no
improvement, and that can lead to workout burnout. A personal trainer can revitalize your
workout and provide some much needed motivation.
Your exercise program needs to
have variety and be fun if you truly intend to stick with it. A trainer can assess your fitness level and
your needs, and then put together a program that gets into the nuts and bolts of
exercise, one based on the right techniques and good body mechanics.
A personal trainer knows the body and knows the equipment. Even seemingly minor changes in the way you
exercise can make a huge difference in the results. It does not have to cost a fortune. Programs are designed for one-on-one
training, partner training, and small group training.
So make up your mind that 2009
is the year you stick to your New Year's Resolution and don't be afraid to ask
for a little help.

Getting Started
No matter who you are, you can achieve a higher level of fitness.
Kids, Teens, Adults, Seniors, Athletes & non, in shape, out of
shape, super fit, bored with working out or can't get enough exercise.
Try something different. We'll coach you through ever-changing workouts
that will challenge and thrill you. You'll work hard-and most likely,
you'll exceed your expectations... no matter who you are.
How to Get Started
Contact us by email or phone, and we'll set up a FREE
one hour intro session. To get new trainees comfortable with the skills
and exercises, we ask that you start with three personal training
sessions before deciding whether to join the CrossFit classes or
continue with personal training. Starting with personal training
sessions helps us put your safety and understanding first. Our trainers
are exceptional coaches and teachers, and we guarantee that the
personal sessions are a good value. We're available to answer any
questions about our training before you sign up or at any other time.
Send us an email or give us a call today to schedule your first session
or ask us anything you need to know to get started.
Your FREE Intro Session
Your trainer will ask you about your exercise history, medical
history, special interests and concerns. You'll start learning how to
do the basic movements our drills are built on, and we'll give you a
workout. Your first workout might include three sets of exercises such
as nonweighted squats, light medicine-ball throws, rowing, and/or basic
barbell or dumbbell lifts. Later workouts might include push-ups,
pull-ups, jumping, 400-meter runs, and/or more advanced and rapid
free-weight drills. We have an ever-growing repertoire of new and old
exercises, combined in ever-changing ways, and always tailored to suit
your abilities. Many of our favorite exercises are not used in
mainstream fitness programs. If they are, it is usually not with the
intensity that provides cardio and strength training together. Besides
providing this efficiency benefit, our trainers combine these and many
other exercises in endless variety. Intensity and speed mean different
things to different people. Every person can be surprised by what he or
she is capable of with the excellent training our coaches provide.
