Greetings
What does the World Require of Us Now? In this e-news we bring you a story of the recent gathering in Cincinnati that saw the likes of World Café co-founder Juanita Brown, Art of Hosting's Toke Moeller and PeerSpirit's Christina Baldwin coming together to talk about what the world requires of them now.
Juanita describes a sense of calm urgency, as those gathered reflected on a world that "has never been in such a state of potential danger as it is now."
"There's never been a generation where parents felt their children wouldn't have as good a life as their parents - that's a first in America," says Juanita.
But there's much more to this story, as you'll see by clicking on the links below.

Conversation underscores an 'invisible' movement making profound change "Something is afoot in the world, and I'm a participant in it." That's what Peter Block says resonated most true for him as he took part in a recent first-ever conversation of its kind in Cincinnati. Click here to read the full story.
We think this question of what the world requires of us now is also worth considering in light of the continued movement towards the whole-system, Appreciative Inquiry summit in Cincinnati.
What courageous act does the city require of us now? What does this movement ask of us?
Our responses, we feel, are the only way forward from any sense of "calm urgency" we too may be feeling about the state of our world.
