Women Working to Make a Better World

I'm becoming deeply engaged in discovering and sharing stories from the network of people working to enhance opportunities for women entrepreneurs.

 

And perhaps part of what makes it so exciting is that it came to me by surprise.

 

Around the middle of July, Donna Morton, an inspiring entrepreneur and CEO in B.C., pitched Axiom News a story idea coming out of her experience as a fellow at this year's Unreasonable Institute. She was excited about the number of women represented at the mentor-accelerator program that convened 26 people to live and work together for six months.

S&R Today achieving its mission 

Steeves & Rozema executive assistant Florence Brown says increased staff engagement and having an easy-to-access success measurement tool are the greatest benefits the organization is garnering from its online news program.

 

The organization, which consists of long-term care, retirement home and property management divisions, launched S&R Today in March. To date, Brown says the program is achieving its mission.
