WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON
Employee Ownership & Well-Being
Employee ownership was celebrated in many ways throughout October. The U.S. marked Employee Ownership Month, Canadians celebrated Co-op Week and credit unions took part in International Credit Union Day.

Axiom News stories have been highlighting the strengths of employee ownership and the co-op movement.

Read a story with Erbin Crowell, the marketing and co-op relations manager for the Co-operative Fund of New England, who shares his thoughts on how co-ops can contribute to building strong, sustainable economies.

We've also talked with two of the companies on The Wall Street Journal's Top Small Workplace list - Skyline Construction and The Railroad Associates Corporation. Both companies have an employee stock ownership plan and encourage democratic workplace environments.

In other news, Gallup recently hosted its annual Well-Being Forum, sharing more than a year's data from its Gallup and Healthways Well-Being Index as well as new research in the field.

Enjoy!
