Greetings!
There are just 5 more days until the Third Annual DE-feet Breast Cancer 5K in Rehoboth Beach! Please join us this Sunday at the Tanger Outlets for this fun and spirited fundraiser for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. The weather report says it is going to be in the 70s and sunny so it will be a beautiful day by the beach for a run or walk!
You can take part in the timed 5K run, untimed 5K walk, 1-Mile Fun Walk or just come for the fun! This year we will have:
- A pre-event ceremony with music and performances to get you pumped up!
- A special Survivor Celebration to recognize the breast cancer survivors who we walk in honor of.
- Team and Individual Awards like the Team Spirit Award and Top Fundraiser. Check out the list of awards here. Those who raise over $1,000 will be recognized as a member of the DE-feet Pink Pacesetters Club.
- A Kid's Corner with fun activities for the young walkers and runners.
- A post-event reception with snacks, refreshments, and fun!
- Bake Sale and DBCC Merchandise for sale!
Last year's event had over 1,100 participants and we expect this year to be bigger and better. Please join us!

We've set a goal for the DE-feet 5K to raise $100,000 for DBCC's programs and services. Proceeds will be used locally to increase breast cancer awareness, provide free education at health fairs and events, promote the importance of early detection, provide access to mammograms, and provide support and resources to men and women in our local community who are newly diagnosed or facing recurrence of breast cancer.
