are joining forces to sponsor the third annual Heels for Hope Breast Cancer
Walk at Bayside on Sunday, October 18 at 8:30
AM to benefit Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, Inc. (DBCC).
Registration for the event is $15 and will take
place at the PNC Bank parking lot of
the Bayside Marketplace located at the intersection of Route 54 and Route 20, 31231 Americana
Parkway Selbyville, DE
from 7:30 to 8:15 AM. Participants have the choice of a 2.5km or a
5km walk that winds throughout the Bayside community. In addition to the walk, there will be a bake
sale and a raffle. Walkers

Cost: $50; half of proceeds benefit DBCC.

This event acts
as a halfway point for the Tanger Style of Pink campaign, which is raising
money for Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition by selling 25% coupons. For
just $1, a customer who purchases a card can use that card in any participating
store and receive 25% off of a single item. Customers are not limited to
how many they can buy, the more we sell the more we raise for DBCC.
This event acts as a way to teach
children and adults about how they can participate together and help create a
healthy style of living. The YMCA is providing activities for all participants
about Healthy living; WQHQ is conducting a live radio remote with DJ Sandy
Alexander; DBCC is bringing the
Women's Mobile Mammography Van to teach women about ways to check for Breast
Cancer; Vitamin World is proving information about products and samples for a
healthier life; and there will be a Free Enter-to-Win Contest for a chance to
win a FREE NINTENDO WII and WII FIT GAME.
