BRING OREGON VETS TO THE 2010 WINTER PARALYMPIC GAMES! |
The Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Paralympics Games will be held in Vancouver, BC on March 12, 2010.
You can help make this once-in-a-lifetime experience real for some Oregon veterans. At the specific request of Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski, Oregon is trying to connect our vets to the Paralympic Games. We've developed two programs to meet this admirable goal: by supplying volunteers to work at the 10-day competition, and by bringing a delegation of disabled veterans to Vancouver to see for themselves what they can achieve, despite their disabilities. Both efforts require some funding to make these experiences a reality.
