The Wall Street shakeup, federal bailout, and spiraling housing market are symptoms of deeper problems within our economy. As a member of the Ways and Means Committee, Congressman Blumenauer will present his overview of the economic issues Congress faces next year, and his approach to building economic stability while we are struggling with the threats of global warming and deteriorating infrastructure.

You are invited to join the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition in celebrating the end of another fantastic year! Our annual holiday gathering takes place in the historic home of Jim and Sharla Beall, and is sponsored by Ball-Janik.
Beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served throughout the evening. As always, be on the lookout for some special guests to take part in this year's festivities!
The cost of this event is free, and the dress code is strictly "come as you are" after a day at the office. Also, spouses are welcomed to attend!
