Cork Convention Bureau attending Meet in UK & Ireland 2011

Meet in Ireland Cork Convention BureauCork Convention Bureau (CCB) will be attending 'Meet in UK & Ireland 2011' this July. In attendance will be UK & Irish event organisers, conference planners and high level buyers & suppliers from the events industry.

 

CCB will be looking to follow up on the success of the recent Tourism Ireland networking event in Lyon where a number of promising meetings were held and business opportunities are currently being investigated.

Fota Wildlife Park BBQFota Wildlife Park is now available as a venue for Gala Dinners. Following the recent successful hosting of  the British & Irish Zoos and Aquariums conference here in Cork, Fota is making the Park available for barbeques for groups of up to 400 delegates.

Showcasing Cork!

Cork Chinese GroupJune saw Cork Convention Bureau host a number of groups and buyers showcasing Cork's top attractions and venues. Pictured left at the 5* Hayfield Manor is Seamus Heaney, CCB Chair, with a Group of Chinese Buyers, brought by Tourism Ireland, on a familiarisation trip to Cork.

 

CCB also hosted Keynote PCO in June on an educational visit to Cork City & County, Keynote PCO is a specialised conference organiser for the association conference sector based in Dublin.
