| Cork Convention Bureau acknowledges Cork Ambassadors |
Cork Convention Bureau (CCB) this week thanked Cork Conference Ambassadors who have secured over €2.2million in Business Tourism for Cork. These Ambassadors are people from Cork, or with a Cork connection, that have used their influence within organisations to bring international conferences to Cork, read more.

| Cork Summer Marketing Campaign |
 Cork Marketing Partnership this year partnered with Failte Ireland on a CORK Summer Marketing Campaign focused in; Dublin, Galway and Belfast, all with direct air routes into Cork. (see new Galway/Cork route)
The campaign heightened awareness of Cork as a summer holiday destination in print, radio, outdoor media and was accompanied with Cork promotions in national publications which featured a "Girls in the City" prize; a penthouse stay, dinner & Spa treatments in the Imperial Hotel & tickets to Mama Mia at Live at the Marquee and a family weekend break at the Maryborough Hotel with a visit to Fota Wildlife Park and Carrigfest.

Following the recent news that Spike Island has now been transferred to Cork County Council; Cork Marketing Partnership welcomes the news that exploration of the potential of this unique tourism, heritage and recreational product in Cork Harbour has begun.

| Dinner Theatre comes to Cork | |
New Cork tourism product; Meridian Theatre Co. and CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory present 'Raccoon', every Thursday evening till the end of August. An evening of theatre, fine dining and a tour of Blackrock Castle; €30 per person.
Also showing 'Bombshells' at Fota House until August 14th, this comedy/drama dinner theatre has wowed audiences all over Ireland. |
| Dancing Thru the Ages set to wow Cork | |
 "Dancing Thru the Ages" music and dance extravaganza comes to the Commodore Hotel at 8.30pm on Saturday 29th August, Tickets €20 available from the Commodore Hotel.
The show features internationally renowned singers and dancers from shows such as River Dance and Lord of the Dance and Cobh's own voice of an Angel, Caroline Fraher and accomplished tenor John Daly. |
