Clipper Shopping Promotion for Cork City Centre

The Clipper Round the World yacht race will arrive into Cork Harbour July 1st this year. Race organisers have designated a shore day in Cork City for the 3,000 strong yacht crews, their families, traveling media etc. on Thursday July 7th.

New routes for Cork

Cork to Galway flights launchCork Marketing Partnership welcomes the news that Manx2.com is to launch Cork to Galway flights from July 2nd 2010.

Designed to reconnect Cork, Southern Ireland's largest county, with Galway in the heart of the West, Manx2.com will operate 14 flights a week reducing travel times from three hours to just 40 minutes. Read more...

Cork City Cares is limiting operation of  the Marshalled Taxi Rank and will now operate over strategic and busy weekends where there is a significant increase in demand e.g. Festivals and Celebrations.

Major Tourism Conference comes to Youghal - May 13th & 14th
Youghal to host major conferenceMaximising the direct value to the economy of heritage tourism and the serious decline of both domestic and international visitors to Ireland will be the main topics of discussion at the upcoming Tourism Conference in Youghal, Co. Cork, on 13th and 14th May 2010.
