Cork Convention Bureau (CCB) has been successful in securing 2 prestigious events for Cork in 2010: The Irish Classic Thoracic Annual Scientific meeting on November 5th/6th is expected to attract up to 300 delegates & a large trade exhibition. Rescue Organisation Ireland in conjunction with the World Rescue Organisation will stage their 2010 World Rescue Challenge in Cork from September 2nd - 5th.  

 

CCB has recently been working with RyanAir and Cork Airport to drive traffic on the Cork Liverpool route.   Liverpool provides a vital UK access route into Cork for business tourism and the region generally.

'Cork' and the rest of the Clipper fleet will arrive in Kinsale in early July 2010. Kinsale will present a family festival of street entertainment, markets & cultural events. On 7 July the fleet leaves Kinsale in a 'parade of sail' for the Port of Cork where the city will host a 3 day celebration.
