The Cork Marketing Partnership portal website www.cometocork.com has just completed the first full year of operation. The site has enjoyed huge success in securing visit traffic and driving traffic to Cork websites. It is our ambition to secure the no.1 position of Cork websites.
With over 45 Cork festivals listed on the 'Cork Festival Calendar' for next year, event organisers are invited to submit details of their event, festival, conference, etc for inclusion in the cometocork.com calendar.
Cork Convention Bureau
Cork Convention Bureau recently hosted 7 MCI meetings & conference organisers to a tour of Cork conference facilities.
MCI is an award winning PCO (Professional Conference Organiser) and has been responsible for some of the largest and most elaborate conferences ever staged in Ireland. MCI will be working with Cork Convention Bureau in the New Year to put together a Cork specific PCO proposal aimed at attracting national & international business to Cork.
Cork Convention Bureau acting manager Evelyn O'Sullivan wishes all CCB members a very Happy Christmas. The CCB office will be closed for the holidays from December 22nd - January 4th.

"Cork's buildings get better and better" that was the overwhelming consensus at the 2009 Cork Better Building Awards Ceremony hosted by Cork Marketing Partnership and presided over by the Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr. Dara Murphy.

Swansea Cork Ferry - Now taking bookings
Great news the new Swansea Cork Ferry operators Fastnet Line are now taking bookings, click here.
The new Swansea to Cork ferry service will commence with an inaugural sailing from Cork on Monday March 1st 2010 and saves nearly 400 mile driving on a round trip.
The 'Cork' boat is currently promoting Cork as a tourism and business destination around the world. Cork County and Cork City Council along with Fáilte Ireland will be working together to promote Cork to consumers, business and the media in key overseas markets.
'Cork' and the rest of the Clipper fleet will arrive in Kinsale, July 2010.
