Happy Thanksgiving! Crossroads for Women is always thankful to be a part of helping women and their families lead healthy lives free from alcohol and drug addiction. Since many of us are getting ready to celebrate the holiday, I'm keeping this e-Newsletter short. I invite you to take a few minutes and view our new photostream on Flickr or browse some of the many recovery gifts you can find through our recovery bookstore. Have a safe and happy holiday!
Crossroads for Women on Flickr
Most people don't quite know what to expect when they come to us for
treatment for substance abuse or mental health. Does a counselor's
office really have a couch? Does residential treatment look like a
hospital? It can truly be an intimidating experience.
Crossroads for Women makes sure the women that come through its doors have a safe, comfortable place to find recovery. Our new Flickr page allows
us to show the environment that clients will experience when they come to us through photos.
It's always nice to reduce a little anxiety before that first
(and scariest) appointment. Visit our photostream and feel free to comment on the pictures. You can see images - inside and out - of all our residential and outpatient facilities. There are even a few vintage pictures, dating back to 1974, from the beginnings of Crossroads for Women!
