We began with a color scheme. In this particular case we wanted to appeal to a broader audience so we chose grays, blues and accents of orange and yellow. These colors were all over the multitude of showrooms at the April High Point Market. While they are the new trend, they also remain a classic combination.

We then met with the sponsors provided by Philadelphia Magazine to select tiles, hardwood, carpet, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, cabinets, closet systems and countertops. The sponsors were anxious to showcase their new and cutting edge products.
After Furniture and accessories supplied by Diggs. The finishing touches are probably my favorite part. I love fabrics and textures. The window treatments soften the walls, absorb sound and create interest. The furniture blends with the characteristics of an older home and also with the new addition. I even added some furniture and artwork from my store. Sometimes when we work so hard to make a house into a home, we don't take time to stop and smell the roses. I am taking this opportunity to be at the Design Home quite frequently. Drop me an email or call and let me know when I can expect you. I would love to see you there and give you a personal tour!
