Virtual Rehabilitation Research Trial Approved! |
Earlier this month Empire Health & Wellness Center was granted approval by the Sage College's Investigative Review Board (IRB) to conduct a case study research trial in partnership with the Sage College's Physical Therapy Program. The trial will investigate the effectiveness of a patent pending balance board and its effectiveness in improving balance and gait when using the Nintendo Wii system for virtual snowboarding simulation.
