In February 2009 Empire Health & Wellness will begin utilizing the Nintendo Wii.  The fun, interactive nature of the Wii video games has proven to give some people the extra motivation to stick with their exercise routine. 

 

Specific programs will be designed for patients and training clients based on their interests and their individual fitness goals. 

 

The Wii Sports program will enable clients to experience sport specific circuit training such as snowboarding, golf, bowling, baseball, boxing and tennis under the guidance of trained staff.

 

Additional exercise training available on the Wii Fit system includes programs for balance, strength, aerobics and Yoga.
