| Grant Money for You! Smiles for Katie Special Child Family Photography Grant
The Smiles for Katie Program provides photographic services to families of children with special needs (disabled or seriously ill). It was inspired by an angelic 4-year-old named Katie, who passed away just a few days after a SKPA-trained photographer captured her beautiful, smiling image. Her parents are sincerely grateful to the photographer who was inspired to schedule the session a day or two before the family went on vacation. Katie passed away while the family was "on the road." They cherish the images of their little cherub so much they created the Smiles For Katie Grant to help other families capture those special moments with their special children.
As an accredited photographer thru SKPA (Special Kids Photography of America) I am elligible to use the grant money for qualifiying children. Please contact the studio for an application.

Blog this! TWO Classes offered
Since I have started 'blogging' about my business I have received several requests on how to start a blog. I will be offering two classes. Each class will teach you how to create your own blog. Blogging is a great way to share information and keep in contact with people/customers. Each class will last about 3 hours and cost $20. Come to one or both. The classes will be held at my Bothell Studio.
1- Wednesday, July 30th at 5:30pm and
2-Monday, August 4th, 5:30pm
More dates may be offered as classes fill up.
