In keeping with our mission of "Love God, Care for Each Other, and Serve in the World," the United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay is embarking on a wonderful project.  We have teamed up to serve with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a Minnesota based organization whose mission is to "Feed God's Starving Children, Hungry in Body & Spirit," by packing and shipping nutritious, yet inexpensive meal packets for starving children around the world.  As one of our all-church community events,  we are inviting our church members, visitors and friends to  participate!

PLEASE JOIN US FOR A TWO HOUR MEAL-PACKING PARTY! :

• Thursday, April 29th at 2:30-4:30 pm or 5:30-7:30 pm
• Friday, April 29th at 9-11am or 12-2pm  or 3-5pm
• Saturday, April 30th at 9-11am or 12-2pm

One meal costs only 19 cents for the ingredients and packing!! 

We plan to pack and ship 100,000 meals.  In order to accomplish this goal, we need to organize at least 500 volunteers for this project, along with $20,000 to pay for the meals we will pack.  To cover production cost for these life-saving meals, UMCWFB will accept free will donations during each packing shift.   

We at UMCWFB have participated in a packing event, and we can tell you that it is a fun and energizing experience for all ages.  Children as young as five are invited to join us along with their responsible adult.
