Thought for the Day:

A real spiritual life makes us so alert and aware of the world around us, that all that is and happens becomes part of our contemplation and meditation and invites us to a free and fearless response.

Serving in the World: Methodists in Mission

Saturday at 5:00 pm
Sunday at 8:00, 9:00, and 10:30 am

This Sunday we will be celebrating Methodists in Mission, focusing on the work and ministry of Northcott Neighborhood House. We welcome Mr. Mac Weddle, Executive Director of Northcott, as our guest speaker at all four services this weekend.

Additionally on Sunday morning we will have the opportunity to hear the testimony of Shantee Austin, a young woman who is now a Milwaukee Police officer, who has benifited from the ministry of Northcott.

Representatives from various mission groups of the church, including FaithWorks, Feed My Starving Children, and the Nome Alaska and Honduras mission trips, will be available in the Jones Narthex to answer questions and hand out information.

Please remember your nonperishable food items for Thanksgiving Express, which runs till November 21. See article below for more info.

See you in worship,

Rev. G. Wiley Gladney
