Highlights of Hope Breakfast

New Hope, Inc. hosted a successful First Annual Highlights of Hope Breakfast on May 17th, in partnership with Matching Gift Sponsor Rockland Trust, Hallmark of Hope Partner Covidien, and Venue Sponsor Dean College.

Emceed by FOX25 News Reporter Bob Ward, with welcoming remarks provided by Dean College President, Dr. Paula Rooney, Highlights of Hope was an uplifting and inspiring morning.  Particularly moving moments included the stories of three New Hope clients - told from the perspective of three program staff members - who overcame extraordinary odds and obstacles to go on and create safe, healthy lives for themselves and their children.  Speaker Linda Evans Shotkus, Founder and President of Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs, also provided passionate words regarding her corporate philosophy of "Doing Well by Doing Good".

New Hope Executive Director, Kimberly Thomas, Keynote Speaker and Founder & President of Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs, Linda Evans Shotkus, and Emcee and FOX25 News Reporter, Bob Ward.

Capturing the inspiring and hopeful spirit of the morning, the breakfast culminated with actual words and voices of New Hope clients and staff, who provided amazing stories of hope and triumph in our "Helping Hands, Creating Hope" video (to view, click the video to the left).

Thanks to the generosity of our Matching Gift Partner, Rockland Trust, all donations made to the "Helping Hands, Creating Hope" campaign (up to $20,000) will be matched through June 30th!  It's Not Too Late!  You can double the impact of your "Helping Hands, Creating Hope" gift by clicking this link to our donate page.
