Happy New Year from

Kim Thomas, Executive Director

happy new year

January marks the beginning of a new year, a time to say goodbye to the past and look forward with hope toward a better future. 2010 was a year filled with many challenges, and while economic struggles have affected us all, I would like to extend my greatest gratitude for the incredibly inspiring support that New Hope has been given. Because of the many generous donations we receive, we are able to continue to provide support for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and work toward a better tomorrow. On behalf of the staff at New Hope, Inc., I wish you and yours a safe, happy, and healthy New Year.

With gratitude,

Vantel Pearls in the Oyster Donates Beautiful Pearl Jewelry for our Staff: A Message from Vantel Employeesvantel

New Hope staff at our 4 offices were surprised and touched to receive a very special delivery from Vantel Pearls in the Oyster this holiday season. Below is a message from Vantel Pearls that accompanied the beautiful gifts:

"This year Vantel Pearls employees decided they wanted to opt out of the usual holiday office party, typically held at a local restaurant, and have a holiday get-together that had more purpose.

We decided to prepare small gifts of Pearl jewelry for the staff at New Hope in appreciation for their incredible work in our community. Each and every day, they invisibly make a difference in the lives of individuals and families in crisis. They work to help end domestic violence and abuse, and they really can't talk about the important differences that they make. We know that it takes a very special and caring individual to provide this much needed help.

We at Vantel Pearls wish to say thank you to New Hope staff members for making such a difference. We hope that our gifts will bring the holiday spirit to each and every one of you who serve so many people in need."

We invite you to view the following touching and inspiring video that Vantel Pearls prepared of the workshop day their staff took in the middle of their busiest season to acknowledge New Hope staff:

Vantel Pearls' Video for New Hope

New Hope sincerely thanks Vantel Pearls for their incredible thoughtful and generous gifts, we are truly touched.
