New Hope Executive Director Kim Thomas presents the "Gourmet Guy of the Year" Award to Chief Pierce at the event on November 19th New Hope thanks and congratulates Attleboro Police Chief Richard Pierce on his 32 Years of Service Attleboro Police Chief Richard Pierce was very instrumental in working with New Hope, the City of Attleboro and the United Way of Greater Attleboro and Taunton to implement the Civilian Advocate position in the Attleboro Police Department that assists victims of domestic & sexual violence, right from within the Police Department. The Civilian Advocate program is still strong today, thanks to him and many others back in the late 90's. Still today, New Hope works closely with Attleboro Police officers to keep victims safe. Not only has Attleboro Police Chief Richard Pierce attended several of New Hope's fundraising events over the years, but he can also be counted on to always cooks up a tasty dish for our Gourmet Guys signature event. This year, Chief Pierce was presented the "Gourmet Guy of the Year" award.
The community as a whole has benefitted from Chief Pierce and his team's commitment to keeping people safe and free from violence. On behalf of the New Hope, Inc.'s Board of Directors, Staff, and Volunteers, we wish Chief Pierce a wonderful retirement.

New Hope Thanks GE Fanuc Automation and Houghton Physical Therapy for their amazing donations!
In recent months, New Hope was fortunate enough to receive several incredibly generous donations.
GE Fanuc Automation, who is currently working with Habitat for Humanity, donated and delivered a brand-new storage shed to our Southeast shelter, built as part of a training project for volunteers. To recognize their generosity, New Hope Executive Director Kim Thomas honored GE Fanuc Automation and Principal Engineer Mike Ryan with a plaque of recognition and appreciation at their Mansfield location.
New Hope was also fortunate to receive a much-appreciated donation from Houghton Physical Therapy. By holding a coat drive at their Attleboro location, Houghton Physical Therapy was able to collect over 75 coats to support those in need at our various shelter locations. Tracy Lombardy, Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing at Houghton PT, took the time to deliver the coats herself to New Hope's Attleboro office.
On behalf of the staff here at New Hope, Inc. we thank GE Fanuc Automation and Houghton Physical Therapy for their greatly appreciated generosity and support. |
