COACH ACROSS AMERICA
Training Institute
Click Here to check out the AP article on CAA that was picked up by papers across the country.

The CAA Training Institute was a 3 day event that trained the first 30 coaches in preparation for their year of service in the new Up2Us/AmeriCorps program Coach Across America. CAA will enable these coaches to become well-trained and prepared to enter the workforce, thus strengthening the SBYD field and creating a Corps of young enthusiastic people. These coaches will have gained the knowledge needed to use sports as an intentional tool for the positive social development of youth in their communities by addressing the issues of anti-social behavior, academic failure and childhood obesity. (READ MORE)
