Up2Us is dedicated to increasing the impact of youth sports as a tool for positive youth development and to increasing access to quality Sports-Based Youth Development programs, especially for disadvantaged youth.

Academics in Motion, Youth Development Coach (New York, NY)

Academics in Motion uses sports programming to inspire students in underperforming schools to achieve academic success.

Youth Development Coaches will work with high school athletic coaches to establish policies and procedures that enable student-athletes to achieve their goals. Youth Development Coaches will manage Academics in Motion's
day-to-day program operations, monitor student progress, help organize community service opportunities and create an academic support system for students.

Gary Comer Youth Center, Athletics Instructor (Chicago, IL)
The Gary Comer Youth Center offers extracurricular activities to Chicago students that encourage them to graduate from high school and pursue college and careers. Located on the South Side of Chicago, the Gary Comer Youth Center provides Chicago teens a welcoming and safe environment to pursue athletics and academics.

The Athletics Instructor will provide and manage physical education, sports and fitness-related programming for Gary Comer Youth Center members.

Partners of the Americas, Youth Exchanges Program Officer (Washington, DC)





Partners of the Americas links volunteers in the United States with developing cities in Latin America and the Caribbean to promote social, economic and cultural development in the western hemisphere.

The Youth Exchanges Program Officer will provide programmatic and logistical support for a youth leadership and exchange program in which high-school students visit cities in the U.S. and Latin America to learn about civic engagement and implement community service projects. The Youth Exchanges Program Officer will mentor youth participants, monitor and evaluate the program and support the program's outreach efforts.

Women's Sports Foundation, Intern (New York, NY)
The Women's Sports Foundation is a national organization that aims to advance the lives of girls and women through sports and physical activity. The Foundation supports efforts to improve participation, research and leadership in sports for girls and women.

Interns will gain professional work experience and exposure to the sports industry by assisting with implementation of the Women's Sports Foundation's advocacy, communications, development, education and grant programs.
