Up2Us Regional Conference in New York City

Up2Us will be hosting
a Regional Conference in New York City on Tuesday, December 9th, 2008.
This conference will bring together 100+ professionals in the field of
sports-based youth development. The conference will feature
keynote speakers, two breakout training sessions, a resource panel and great
networking opportunities for all participants. Both line staff and
administrative staff are encouraged to attend. Training
sessions will cover such
topics as:
- how to recruit and train
volunteers and coaches
- how to
incorporate youth development into your sports program
- how to evaluate your program
Any program or coach that is using sports as a tool
for youth development is invited to attend (space is limited to 2 staff members per
