Welcome once more to Listen Think Create!
It seems like a very long time since I wrote to you all and looking at my diary, the last newsletter was in November! Where did all that time go?
The good news is that we have been incredibly busy working with clients and on some stuff of our own (more of that soon), so at least I do have a good excuse!
Even Alice has been feeling the pressure (see the photo of her perusing the to-do list left) you can almost hear her thinking, "so much to do, so little time!"
Anyway, hope you enjoy this month's effort and hopefully next time's won't take so long!

What we've been up to...
Seeing as it has been such a long time since the last issue, I thought it might be a good idea to tell you a bit about some of the work we have been doing.
TeacherMummy
We have been having fun over the last few months, working with Clare Wood of TeacherMummy Publications. Clare came to us towards the end of last year and asked us to come up with a complete brand package (logo, stationery and website) for her new business.
Clare has written a book supporting families and playgroups in preparing children to read, write and count using play and specially designed resources. She wanted something warm, but high quality in feel, so we came up with a design that was soft with sugar almond colours and flowing lines. Clare was delighted with the end result, and hopefully the work we did will help her on her way to being a successful author - good luck Clare!

Cranford Controls
Another job that has been keeping us busy has been a 34 page catalogue for Cranford Controls. Cranford wanted a high quality item to reflect their products and their position in the market place. To make sure we got the very best images of their stock, we brought in Richard from Newhill Photography to take a new set of photos. We also managed the print run for them, ensuring that they got exactly what they were looking for. Charlotte Philo, Marketing Assistant from Cranford told us they were over the moon with the response they got at the recent Firex Show in Birmingham.
We've also been working on various websites (web definitely seems to the be the in thing at the moment), several new brands and, very excitingly, a 6 minute animation for Hygienics Biosecurity which we project managed and storyboarded.
So as you can see, things have been rather hectic and it seems that's set to continue - long may it last!

 It's holiday time
After all that hard work we're ready for a bit of a rest (Looks nice doesn't it!)
As many of you will already know, The Studio will be closed for our summer break from 26th June till 13th July. As usual, let us know if you think you will need our help during that time so we can arrange for one of our associate designers to lend you a hand. | |
