Alignments extend the life of tires. But did you know,  alignments also extend the life of suspension components that can be very costly to replace.

For you convenience we have a Night Owl to drop off your vehicle before and after hours.

But did you know, we also accept credit card payments over the phone so you can pick your vehicle up after hours.

Buying a used car can be scary. But did you know, that getting a pre-purchase inspection for only $95.00 can insure you are paying a fair price.  Also, if repairs need to be done you have some bargaining power with the purchase price.

Canton Road will be closed at Highway 41 in mid-April for eight months while workers replace the bridge and the CSX railroad bridge and realign the roadway.

Marietta Public Works director Dan Conn suggests:
Avoid area altogether
Use Canton Road Connector

EPA Closer to Approval of 15% Ethanol Gas
Fuel Economy

The federal government announced April 2 it has taken a step toward wide distribution of gasoline mixed with 15 percent ethanol by allowing manufacturers to register as suppliers.

While the EPA is moving the process forward by allowing the registration, E15 still must clear another set of federal tests and become a registered fuel in individual states. Ethanol makers then must convince petroleum marketers to sell it at gas stations.  Most ethanol fuel sold for passenger cars and pickups today is 10 percent ethanol and 90 percent gas. The new blend that boosts ethanol to 15 percent would only be sold for use in 2001 and newer vehicles.

While E15 may reduce our dependency on foreign oil, E15 can cause your fuel economy to drop as well. There is also concern that E15 could damage our vehicles and gasoline-powered equipment. Fuel with higher ethanol content can damage engines not equipped with upgraded rubber parts, gaskets and other fittings.

Manufacturer Recalls

Honda is recalling 1,316 2006 Honda CR-V vehicles to inspect the production lot stamp, which could indicate the vehicle was assembled with a lower control arm that has insufficient welding.  Dealers will replace the control arm assembly if necessary.

Honda is recalling 554,428 2002-2004 Honda CR-V and 2003 Pilot vehicles to repair a potential problem with the headlight wiring.  On certain of these vehicles, due to tension on the wiring harness from the combination switch, wear on the electrical terminal can occur causing eventual melting of the wiring terminals which would then result in failure of the low beam headlights. Dealers will repair the low beam terminals or replace the light switch as necessary.

Honda is recalling 45,747 2008 to 2009 Honda Odyssey vehicles which could experience early failure of the gas struts that help support and lift the tailgate. Failure of the gas struts could result in injury. Dealers will replace the gas struts.
