What's New for Honda? 2011 Accord
The all new 2011 Accord sedan and coupe will go on sale in mid-August according to American Honda.
Updates include:
The Accord sedan gets a new grille, front bumper, trunk lid and wheel design. The Accord coupe gets a bolder grille, new front bumper shape, revised brake lights and new wheels.
EPA ratings have increased as high as 23 mpg city/34 highway on some models, up from a high of 21/31 for the 2010 Accords with the base four-cylinder engine and a five-speed automatic transmission.
Other features include steering wheel mounted paddle shifters on the Accord EX-L V-6 coupe, a USB audio connection on all coupe models and the EX and EX-L sedans, and a rearview camera on sedans equipped with optional navigation system. A Bluetooth hands-free phone connection is standard on EX and EX-L coupe and EX-L sedan models.
American Honda says great care was taken on comfort and ease of operation, with sporty front bucket seats and frequently used climate-controlled switches and buttons moved to the left side of the control panel for easier access. The split-folding rear seatback will have a lockable pass-through to accommodate long items such as skis.

Check your Honda or Acura for Vehicle Safety Recalls
Although American Honda notifies the current registered owner (as identified through state vehicle registration data) each time it conducts a safety recall, not all owners receive such notices. Even when notices are received, not all owners respond to such notices.
Enter the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number); any recall for that VIN will be noted, including the status of the repair, open or fixed.

Acura MDX redesigned for 2011
The Acura MDX will get a styling refresh for 2011. Acura has also said it may offer a V6 diesel engine option on the 2011 MDX. Expect the 2011 Acura MDX to hit showroom floors in the autumn of 2010.
The exterior will have a significantly revised front end, redesigned headlamps and a refreshed lower bumper fascia for 2011. The interior will most likely be revised as well, but we won't know for sure until official photos are released.
