Greetings!

I hope you enjoyed your summer. Time to get back into the swing of things. Have you looked at your goals or resolutions lately? There is still time to achieve "your hearts desire" by year end. So, get your list out, dust it off and see where you stand.

I would like your input. I have thought about having a massage therapist or manicurist available one day a week at the shop. Would you be interested in having such a service available while you are waiting to have your vehicle serviced? What other type of service would interest you? How much would you be willing to pay for such a service? Please call or send an email sherry@alancoxautomotive.com with your response. All ideas and suggestions are welcome. I will have a drawing for a Free Mini Service for everyone who responds by September 30.

Thank you, in advance for your time.

Sherry
Drive Safely,

P.S.  As a thank you for your continued support, I have extended the warranty on vehicle service to 18 months or 18,000 miles instead of the industry standard of 12 months or 12,000 miles. Your repeat business and referrals are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Two New Vehicles Available Soon

First Look: The all-new Accord Crosstour
Based on the award-winning Accord, the Crosstour will make its own statement with a longer, wider stance and enhanced utility. Accord Crosstour
The Crosstour will be on sale later this fall.
The all-new 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour evolves the Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV) concept by integrating a sleek and aerodynamic shape that blends sporty, low-profile contours with versatile CUV functionality, American Honda Motor Co., Inc., announced.
"Our concept is to broaden the appeal of the Accord line-up by leveraging traditional Accord strengths of fun-to-drive performance and handling while also adapting to dramatic shifts in the light truck marketplace," said Erik Berkman, vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "The Accord Crosstour accomplishes that by offering a modern interpretation of a CUV while integrating the refinement and efficiency of a premium sedan."
Derived from the Accord Sedan, the Accord Crosstour maximizes car-like ride and refinement, yet maintains capabilities consistent with a CUV's increased ride height and all-weather potential. "We know SUV buyers like the commanding view of the road that comes with a high eye-point and like the comforts of living with an SUV," said Berkman. "This vehicle meets the needs of buyers looking for those attributes yet at the same time want an image that is different from a conventional SUV." Accord Crosstour

Check out the Sporty Hybrid from Honda - CR-Z
2010 CRZFuturistic styling. Hybrid power. Advanced interior design. And it's all wrapped up in a lightweight, fun-to-drive package. What a concept! It's the Honda CR-Z concept, to be exact, and it made its North American debut at the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.

And now it's official: a CR-Z based on the concept vehicle will go into production and be on sale in 2010.

Shorthand for "Compact Renaissance Zero," the CR-Z is a forward-thinking exercise in inspired design and environmental technology. The CR-Z draws its inspiration from a need to deliver spirited performance in an efficient manner. It's all part of our commitment to help effect positive environmental change. So keep on the lookout for more details about the CR-Z.

Honda Insight Gets Rave Reviews from Car and Driver
2010 InsightEager to secure for itself some Toyota Prius-like success, Honda revived the Insight name for this new-for-2010 five-door. In the July 2009 edition of Car and Driver, a comparison tests titled "Mileage Maestros" ranked the Insight number one. Praising the Insight for its "attractive price" and real-world ergonomics, the editors especially liked the Insight's sporty handling and solid road manners. Honda Insight
Honda Recall
Honda is recalling 440,000 2001 and 2002 model year Civic and Accord vehicles. Some of the driver-side airbags could produce excessive pressure when deployed and send metal Honda Accordfragments through the airbag and result in injury to the driver. Dealers will replace the airbag inflator free of charge. If you have questions contact Honda Automobile Customer Service at 800-999-1009 or call an authorized Honda Dealer, Ed Voyles Honda at 770-951-2211.  Honda Service Bulletin
