Funding for Alaska Commercial Energy Audit Program
Dear SEC Newsletter Subscribers,
We are forwarding this message from AEA for your interest.

Dear Alaskans,

The Alaska Energy Authority is pleased to announce 2012 funding for the Alaska Commercial Energy Audit Program.  This program provides high-quality energy audits for privately owned commercial buildings across Alaska, up to 160,000 square feet in size.  It is expected that 2012 funding will allow for 100 to 150 building audits.

The open application period runs from February 13, 2012 to March 28, 2012.  The applications will be scored based on commitment to implement identified energy efficiency measures, annual cost of energy, and other factors.  Applications scoring 10 points or higher will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis.  Other applications will be ranked and awarded (as funding is available) following two application deadlines: March 5, 2012 early decision; and March 28, 2012 regular deadline.

All program materials and the online application are available at www.akenergyauthority.org/efficiencyaudits.html.

Last year's funding for this program identified over $2.5M of cost-effective annual energy savings in just 94 commercial buildings totaling 1.3M square feet.

Please feel free to forward this email to any building owners or other parties who might be interested.

Best wishes for an energy efficient future,

Sean Skaling
