Youth group returns to Sundays in the fall. Junior High will met from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. and senior high will meet from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Snack shack will be open the first 20 minutes. Check the websites for more information in the coming weeks. |
| GT2 - Summer Youth Bible Study |
 Thursday, August 19, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Join us for a discussion about Talents. Bring your bible and bathing suit. Swimming during free time after the study. This is the last lesson and it will be at the Delano house.
Fall 2010 Studies Begin Wednesday, September 1
New groups are forming NOW. Signup sheets are in the church foyer and youth room. Groups will be divided by jrhi girls, jrhi boys, and srhi. Studies will be in host homes on Wednesday evenings through November 17 with a social scheduled for December 8. Please register by Ministry Fair (August 29) so host homes and leaders can be properly arranged. |
| Youth Confirmation Begins September 1 |
 Wednesdays, 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. in youth room Confirmation is an important milestone in the life of the church. At Baptism, parents pledge to raise their children in the knowledge of God's word and let their lives be an example of God's transforming love. At confirmation, parents hand the responsibility of the child's faith to them, and partner with them as co-heirs in Christ, learning together what it means to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus. Confirmation classes will conclude with a special ceremony on Wednesday, December 1. Parents are encouraged to attend a similar class on Sunday mornings running September 5 through November 28. |
