The Weekend Message 
This weekend, the series "The Life of a Disciple" concludes with an exploration of how the church is built-up. It is both the pastors and the ministers responsibility to do what Jesus has called us to do. What is it? What is the difference? How do we build-up each other?

TGIF - Thank God for Insane Fun Paintball Event
Friday, July 9, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Meet at the church by 4:30 p.m. if you need a ride. Join us for an afternoon of intense paint ball! Splatterhouse Paintball is located at 1408 Lakeside Drive, Brookshire 77423. Community Outreach Ministry
Now collecting for Children's Activity bags New COTHA ministry serving Katy in a variety of ways is tackling their first project - making 1500 children's activity bags for Breath of Life clinic. Donations of sandwich size Ziploc bags, Crayons, wrapped lollipops, stickers, plastic ring, and similar favors will be greatly appreciated. Basket will be in foyer till July 18. Check online at Oriental Trading for great gifts and have them shipped directly to the church attention Karen Pettit.
Conversation: Guidance

Trying to make a decision in your own life? The Discipline of Guidance is the belief that when disciples gather together in the name of Jesus His will can be discerned. All are welcome to this conversation, led by licensed spiritual director, Clare Alford.

Scripture Aloud: 1 & 2 Timothy
Sunday, July 18, 1:00, Sanctuary
The apostle Paul wrote at least two letters to his disciple, the young church pastor, Timothy, to encourage and teach him about his leadership role within the church. Today, we can still learn basic truths of our faith, study instructions for leadership, and fine tune our character by reading 1 & 2 Timothy. Most importantly, the presence and power of the Holy Spirit is present during the reading of the Word of God. Next Sunday, take time to experience Scripture Aloud.
