Chamber After Hours Event on Tuesday

Chamber Invites Vendors to Taste/Expo 

The Community Chamber of Commerce is inviting local businesses, health care service providers, restaurants and caterers to participate in the Consumer Health & Business Expo with a Taste of East Montgomery County.

Taste Food Samples | Raffles | Health Screenings
Product Demos | Entertainment | Blood Drive
Free Information | Door Prizes | Free Samples

The event is being held Wednesday March 24th between 4 and 7 pm at the Yellow Rose Reception Hall in New Caney.
  • Vendors may showcase their business with a non-food booth.
  • Vendors that are a food booth may showcase their business while offering bite size samples of their food to the public. 
  • Your 10x10 booth space will be furnished with a 6' table and two chairs.
  • Food Booths must be able to provide bite-size samples for at least 300 people.
  • Vendors are encouraged to dress the part and decorate their booth according to our "Texas" theme.
  • Your participation automatically enters you into the Golden Chef Award contest. This award is judged based on food, booth decor & team spirit. Only those providing food in their booth will be eligible for the golden chef award.
  • All vendors are encouraged to offer product samples, literature, demonstrations, screenings, raffles or door prizes.

Team City East Montgomery County Community Planning Summit

Team City

The public is invited to participate in the 2010 Team City EMC Community Planning Summit.  The format this year will be different in that there will be two community input sessions on specific topics followed by a wrap-up session at the Chamber's March Luncheon.
 
Plan now to attend either (or both) sessions where your ideas will be used to plan for the future and where your input will matter. 
Join community leaders as they share their ideas
with you and you provide your input to them.

We invite you to come to New Caney where you can visit the "Old Sawmill Town" and step back in time and experience East Montgomery County history. Craft vendors, food concessions, historical displays, quilt show, old timey pictures, live music on the grandstand outdoors, carnvial games, rock wall, petting zoo, and tournament competitions - sack races, bucket relays, water polo and more.

MCYS Fundraiser
I am putting on a fund raiser from 10-3 on April 3rd at the Porter Fire Department to raise money for Summer Program and the Healthy Supports Donation room I was wondering if you could post it in the paper and then maybe if you or someone could come take a couple of pictures at the event.
 
Here is what we will have:
  • Moon walks
  • Dunking booth
  • Face painting
  • Popcorn
  • Cake walk
  • Clown
  • Snow cones
  • Games
  • Easter egg hunt
  • Hot dogs 
There will also be an opportunity for kids to decorate an egg and make a basket
 
Their will be an Easter Bunny for kids to take a picture with but they will need to bring a camera and a basket for the egg hunt
