Chamber Membership Drive Complete 
The Community Chamber of Commerce held the Annual Membership Drive last week. Two teams competed, Constable Rowdy Hayden's "Mavericks" against the Porter Fire Dept.'s "Broncos". The event was kicked-off Monday with a breakfast at The Villas of Valley Ranch - special thanks to Jennifer Teel and all the staff. The two teams met on the 21st at Allied Power Mart for lunch and the announcement of the winning team. Both teams worked hard all week to reach out to new potential members. A total of thirteen new members joined the Chamber during the membership drive.
The winning team with a total of seven new members was the "Mavericks". Congratulations!!
Special thanks to Angela Allen of Allied Power Mart for hosting the wrap-up party.

Helping Pregnant and Parenting Teens - Healthy Supports
The Healthy Supports program is a comprehensive range of services for pregnant and parenting teens in Splendora, New Caney, and Magnolia schools. Case management services, counseling, and other supportive services are provided to assist teen parents with access to health resources, nutrition, family management skills, and parenting techniques.
