Personal Message

Spiritual People need to get a
serious reality check. Everyone is spending a fortune on Gurus,
soothsayers, mediums, mystics, healer, intuitives, therapists and on
and on. Yes, this person or that person may temporarily lift the vail
for you, but in everyday life, the pleasant effects fade. Why? No one
likes to hear it. But I'll risk our friendship and shout it out. YOU
ARE YOUR OWN GURU. YOU ARE YOUR OWN GOD. That is the secret. No Guru
anywhere can free you from your own suffering. It's up to you. Even the
Buddha could not enlighten his chief disciple. This was because his
disciple was so devoted to the Buddha, that the disciple could not see
that he was the source of his own reality. As soon as the Buddha died,
his disciple realized that "HE WAS HIS OWN GURU. HE WAS HIS OWN GOD".
You don't need me. You don't need anyone. You only need you. Turn
around and face your own music. Listen to it carefully. You created it.
You can end it.

to the American Buddha Newsletter for November 2009. This Month, I will
be discussing the nature of the Present Moment and also Spiritual
Enlightenment. The American Buddha Programs were created as a vehicle

How do I become Enlightened?
If we believe that there is something more to become, then the process
of becoming will exclude the experience of being. It is like saying
that something is just around the corner of a building.....only the
building is circular. The sense of becoming is a misperception. What
is....simply is. What is not...is not. It is to prolong the suffering
of ...humanity to foster such fiction. It is cruel. There is nothing
better than this. When we finally get to what spiritual transformation
wishes us to become, it will look suspiciously like this minute we are
in right now. Enlightenment is experiential. There is no time for mind,
time, past or future. There is only now......eternally present...now.
There is no room in now for a then.
How do I deal with the problems of the world?
The only real way to deal with the world's sorrows is to change the
experiencer; not the experience. The sorrows are neutral. They are just
stuff happening. But we respond to the sorrows in an an emotionally
charged way. We respond based on our perception of that experience.
Seek Divine Grace. Divine Grace will create a new perception. A new
perception will create new experience. A new experience will create new
consciousness. And a new consciousness will create a new Destiny.
Who am I? Am I this body? Am I the mind? Or am I just the Soul?
There is only one body, and it is a universal body. There is only one
living being in creation and it is creation herself. There is only one
consciousness and she has expressed herself in an infinite number of
forms. Suffering comes from identification with these various forms. We
are not a localized body. We are an infinite body. You and I are not
you and I. We are both an aspect of one infinite living being. This
being is ALIVE! Its nature is Oneness. In this Oneness, there is
absolute freedom. In this Oneness, there is absolute bondage. In this
Oneness, there is no more you, so there is complete freedom. There is
liberation. In this Oneness, there is complete bondage. This is
because, in this Oneness, you are bound to act on behalf of the
universal you. In this Oneness, there is complete love. Everyone and
everything is as near and dear to you as your own self. It is all your
body. If the earth is your body then how could you continue to damage
her? If the other people in the world are actually you, then how could
you possibly hurt anyone anymore?
What is the value of Silence?
It is said that Krishnamurti and Sweet Mother of Pondicherry once had a
meeting. And all of the onlookers were very excited to hear their
discouse. Krishmurti entered the room and sat across from Sweet Mother.
And then, a strange thing happened. There was complete silence in the
room for the next hour and a half. Not a word was said. At the end of
that time, Krishnamurti arose and simply left the room. His bewildered
disciples asked him what had happened. Why hadn't they talked.
Krishnamurti replied, "What do you mean? We had a wonderful
conversation".

It is not the workshop; rather, it is the state that it will bring you to that is important. The workshop is a kind of gateway. There is a silence associated with it that is significant. If you come to the workshop, just know that you will gain a foothold in the area beyond your mind. You will come to know your Soul intimately. You will come to know your inmost Self. You will taste eternity. You will gradually awaken from a million lifetimes of sleep and you will know your Divinity. In the end, you will come to live the wisdom of the Saints from time immemorial."
