"The Girls Getaway Guide to Orlando: Leave Your Baggage at Home helped me put together an excellent 30th birthday for my wife, Kelli. We had one night with the family and one night with our friends.
We had a blast! The recommendation for HUE Restaurant was great. And Club Paris' VIP was the way to go! We couldn't have done it without this great guide!"

Football Season is Prime Girl Getaway Time
Most everyone is familiar with the book Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus by John Gray. In it, the author points out the differences between to two genders. Another book, Trends by Tom Peters also highlights some differences between the two genders, especially when it comes to how they want to spend their "down time". Peters cites the following:
-
Men and women are very different, and therefore, their travel needs are very different.
-
Men connect through competition. Women connect through commonality.
-
Men want to get away from authority and family. Women want to connect.
-
Men are self-oriented. Women are other-oriented.
-
Men are rights-oriented. Women are responsibility-oriented.
-
Men stay detached. Women get personal.
With this in mind, it is easy to see why men are so attracted to football and the social time that comes with football season. While the men are focused on football, this is the perfect time for women to get together for a nice "girls getaway". Orlando is the perfect getaway location; you can even start your Christmas shopping now!

Casey's Travels
Naples, FL - "My cousin Kelly lives in Portland, OR, so I don't see her very often. That is why it was so special that we could spend a few days at the Ritz-Carlton Naples. Located right on the beach, the Ritz doesn't disappoint in service and style. We had a terrific time lounging by the pool and on the beach, as well as shopping and eating in downtown Naples."
