WinterPRIDE hosts the annual Mr Gay Canada Competition
 The annual Mr Gay Canada competition will be held from Thursday February 9th to Sunday February 12th during WinterPRIDE. The Mr Gay Canada competition will provide an opportunity for young gay men to make a 'difference' and be leaders in their own communities. Through education and public performances, MGC's goal is to help create positive, authentic and empowered role models that will be a champion for Gay Human Rights. Through these public performances, outreach and education, MGC will raise awareness of issues pertinent to young gay men, such as safe sex awareness, bullying and self-acceptance. Many of the MGC competition will take place during WinterPRIDE events. Have a chance to meet and encourage the delegates while they compete in various challenges including a photo challenge, sports challenge, fashion show/run way challenge, swim suit challenge, and public speaking. If you or someone you know would like to be a delegate, apply today . All applications must be in by December 31st, 2011.
