Ken has had a busy couple months as he globe trots around the world.  Most recently Ken was in Toronto to receive an award the community of Toronto and Toronto Pride gave to GayWhistler & the Pride House Team for our contribution in creating a dialogue on homophobia within sports with our creation of PRIDE House at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.  We are thrilled to see that the London Olympic Summer Games saw what we had started and have since taken it to the next level.  On July 1st they launched the Olympic's first ever Pride Olympic Pin!  Wow - how exciting is that?!

Greetings from Whistler, ! 

The Summer's heat has finally arrived in Vancouver & Whistler - how exciting!  Summer is one of my favorite seasons in Whistler, there is something about seeing all these beautiful men & women dressed like modern day Camelots with all their body armor for Mountain Biking... and then gearing down for a dip in our refreshing Mountain lakes.  Ahhh... how I love summer! 

If you thought the resort was magic in the Winter, you really need to come up and experience it in the summer... there is so much to do!  And with the heavy snow pack this year, the Alpine trails will be closed for a few more weeks, but this has opened up a new Alpine Inner Tube Park... a perfect and fun way to cool off!  Rip it up in the back country on an ATV, navigate the raging rivers, fly through the forest on ZipLines or just hang out at the beach... all that is missing is you!
